Intercom door units are specified with their locations in the VidSys device inventory. Calls from these door stations are handled like other events reported to the PSIM software and can be processed by VidSys rules to filter and prioritize incoming calls, and to correlate them with other events related to a security situation. Integrated with Commend Intercom Solutions DMR Mobile Radio Interface Overview Description Integrate Motorola, Hytera and Kenwood two-way radios to Commend Intercom SMC Gateway’s integration with Commend intercoms enables you to place calls for assistance to two-way radio. Radios can be included in the usual routing, with additional phones in the chain if the radio cannot accept the call. This is achieved by calling the radio and waiting for an answer. The radio is no longer the dead end it once was. The solution is deployed with a UK utility company, enabling onsite and offsite staff to deal with intercom calls, on both phones, and two-way radios. A typical Use Case scenario would be as follows: On initiation of the intercom system an office phone on site is rung, but the office is only staffed part time, after 10 seconds the call is routed to the radio. The radio user can accept the call and send a command back to open the gate. If the radio user is unable to accept the call, the system can continue to ring the next phone, perhaps at head-office or a control room, leaving no one stranded, unable to gain entry or without assistance. Integrated with Commend Intercom Solutions FLIR Cameleon Interface Overview Description The Commend Intercom Driver enables seamless integration between Commend’s intercom system and FLIR’s advanced camera control software, Cameleon. This interface facilitates real-time, bidirectional communication between both systems, enhancing situational awareness and response capabilities. The driver transmits alarm and event data generated by the Commend intercom system directly to the Cameleon Server.
