Functions, Technologies and Products
Universal Reader Integration
The Universal Readers will be integrated into external access control systems via an API and transfer data in encrypted form to ensure secure authentication.
QR Code Integration
The QR codes read by the cameras are integrated into external access control systems via the SymMX API.
Compatible Access Control Systems
The universal readers are currently being tested with a list of systems to ensure compatibility. These will be published on our website soon.
Use Cases
Buildings
An employee arrives at the office building and prepares to enter using a mobile access card, stored on their smartphone, or a physical tag, if preferred by the company. Access rights are defined by the access control system.
Visitors
External visitors can also receive access by email in the form of a QR code from their host. This code can grant entry to the building, sometimes limited to specific areas. Again, access rights are defined by the access control system, not by Commend.
Self-Service Terminal
Ivy Virtual Assistant is there to help you during the registration process on an intercom with a touchscreen and a camera. After scanning the code, a security briefing can be displayed on the screen. The person must read through them and confirm that they have understood them.
Assembly Point
Valuable transparency and accountability ensure a safe and efficient evacuation process. This solution is particularly beneficial for larger buildings with multiple assembly points, replacing the need for manual checks and ensuring a safe and efficient evacuation process.
Smart City
Bollards used to restrict vehicle access in a Smart City can also take advantage of this solution. Making city life more liveable and secure with management of permanent or time-restricted access permissions.
