The frame can be used wherever a shadow gap is not desired for surface mounting. Depending on the colour, it has the advantage of increasing the visibility of the Intercom station. Furthermore, the call station is better protected against spontaneous vandalism by the frame. The frame can be used in combination with polycarbonate wallmount stations as well as with membrane protected stations. To simplify cable routing for plaster mounting, the frame is equipped with cut-outs that can be fitted with the WSSH 50P cable gland. The frame is held to the wall by the WSSH 50P, but can optionally be fixed to the surface with up to six screws. The front panel can be removed using the removal kit. Colour light grey corresponds to RAL 9006.

Additionally, the IP66 certification (acc. to EN/IEC 60079-0) and a wide permissible temperature range make the Intercom stations the perfect choice for a wide range of applications in explosive environments. Thanks to the dust- and water-insensitive microphones and the 16 kHz eHD Voice audio quality, the Series EX 7000D comes with highest speech intelligibility. Even in very noisy environments, two powerful amplifiers for the optional built-in loudspeaker and a connectable PA loudspeaker ensure a crystal clear sound. Furthermore, the microphone and the IVC feature (Intelligent Volume Control) allow to adjust the volume automatically to the ambient noise – even during playback.
