By focusing on the highest safety levels, simple operation and future proof scalability, Commend’s Series EX 7000D is especially designed for communication in potentially explosive atmospheres. In order to verify their absolute reliability for use in Ex zones with hazardous gases or dusts, the Intercom stations are both ATEX-, CCC- and IECEx-certified. Based on a rugged, corrosion-resistant and lightweight “Ex e” polycarbonate housing, the Series EX 7000D enables simple and rapid installation, eliminates expensive routine servicing and drastically reduces maintenance costs. Additionally, the IP66 certification (acc. to EN/IEC 60079-0) and a wide permissible temperature range make the Intercom stations the perfect choice for a wide range of applications in explosive environments. AFIL USB
The AFIL-USB provides an easy way to fit Intercom stations with an induction loop for the hearing impaired. To install it, a free USB port is all that is needed. The compact size allows it to fit both into a surface and into a flush mount kit. Thanks to the user-friendly plug and play installation, the AFIL-USB is immediately ready for use. The AFIL-USB is developed in accordance with IEC 60118-4. This ensures an absolute “barrier-free communication” for people who depend on hearing aids.

G3-TEL Interface Card
The G3-TEL multipurpose interface card builds a bridge between Intercom networks and telephone networks. Every interface card may be configured for one of the two possible modes: PABX mode: The Intercom stations can call any desired telephone number. Conversely, the Intercom stations can also be called from any telephone. In addition all Intercom functions can be activated via the DTMF keypad of the remote telephone, e.g. All Calls, Group Calls, Door Calls with after-dialling for door opening, etc. Auto dialler mode (alarm dialler): Calls and Call Requests from the Intercom Server initiate predefined dialling sequences. The called telephone receives a voice message identifying the calling station by means of integrated, user-configurable speech storage. The telephone can talk to the caller and, if required, activate remote access functions, e.g. open a door.

The G3-LAN network cards are the solution to the challenge of IoIP – Intercom over IP: GE 300 and / or GE 800 Intercom Servers can be networked in IP-networks via Ethernet connections. The IP network card supports central management of up to 16 Intercom servers. Up to 8 conversations, music programmes or radio channels are supported simultaneously. GEZ 300 – Expansion housing including Power supply with five plug-in slots for subscriber cards and / or interface cards. Connection to the IP Intercom Server via ribbon cable. While developing SIP-WS 211V DA, Commend’s commitment was to provide an Intercom station that was to be especially easy to operate by any user while providing clear intelligibility under all ambient conditions. The target was to build “the world’s most barrier-free Intercom station” that would support equal opportunities for impaired persons to participate in public life. The special Intercom station equipment developed for this purpose ranges from a special call button in contrasting colours for the visually impaired and extra large LED pictograms to HD Voice sound and inductive speech transmission. The resulting multi-purpose Intercom station even exceeds the official requirements for people with visual and hearing impairments and the accessibility regulations in accordance with the equal opportunities for the disabled principle (see “Two-Senses Principle”). What is more, the integrated IEC 60118-4 compliant induction loop system is setting new worldwide standards in Intercom barrier-freeness for the benefit of users and customers

The inputs read in floating contacts, the outputs are relay contacts, designed as make contact, open contact or changeover contact.

Series ET 861A
The 2-wire door station module ET 861A was developed for use at doors and gates as well as entry ways and internal security gates. The elegant modern design is matched to the Vario 6 series from Siedle. Further function modules matching the door station module are available. This way, all areas to which a speech connection is required can be integrated into the Intercom system. Thus, all advantages of the Intercom system can be used — e.g. call transfer into the telephone or cellular network and networking. The door station module ET 861A uses the latest DSP technology, which allows functions like audio monitoring, loudspeaker/microphone surveillance or OpenDuplex . Typical applications of the door station module include speech solution at doors and gates, barriers and turnstiles. The ET 861A is available for flush as well as surface mounting and for integration in columns or letterbox systems.
