The plug-in Server G8-IP-32 from Commend introduces a new era of Intercom Expansion cards. Connection of up to 64 Intercom stations and extensive, distributed intelligence turn the card into a fully fledged Intercom Server. Unsurpassed capacity and performance reserves, critical for all areas, in which many Intercom stations must be managed centrally in one location in a intelligent manner. This results in a maximum expansion of 896 Intercom Terminals per GE 800 housing (14 plug-in Servers G8-IP-32).

The OpenDuplex capable and vandal resistant SIP stations have been developed and designed for areas with high requirements on safety. They are connected directly to the Ethernet (LAN/WAN) and in this manner are connected to a compatible SIP server via the IP network. The built-in switch with downlink function allows direct connection of an additional IP device (e.g. an IP camera). Besides high volume, the SIP stations provide a numerous amount of further features: Pre-recorded audio can be applied in a multi-purpose manner, e.g. as acoustic indication at line fault or as waiting information at call initiation. A configurable background noise suppression provides a crystal clear communication in challenging situations. Furthermore, the stations are perfectly suited for use as door stations at entrances and gateways, due to integrated relay outputs. The 3 mm stainless steel front panel with tamper protection and special screws protects against vandalism. The robust construction provides full protection against water, dirt and dust – IP rating IP66. Each button can be allocated to a call number and the relevant label area can be filled in individually. The red emergency call button is easily visible from a considerable distance and can be activated quickly in emergency situations

While developing WS 311V CM DA, Commend's commitment was to provide an Intercom station that was to be especially easy to operate by any user while providing clear intelligibility under all ambient conditions. The target was to build "the world's most barrier-free Intercom station". The special Intercom station equipment developed for this purpose ranges from a special call button in contrasting colour for the visually impaired and extra large LED pictograms to HD Voice sound and inductive speech transmission. The resulting multi-purpose Intercom station even exceeds the official requirements for people with visual and hearing impairments and the accessibility regulations in accordance with the equal opportunities for the disabled principle ("Two-Senses Principle"). What is more, the integrated IEC 60118-4 compliant induction loop system is setting new worldwide standards in Intercom barrier freeness for the benefit of user and customers. This induction loop system offers a wider frequency response, has got a larger area coverage and people with hearing aids are able to get a superior sound quality. The robust construction also provides full protection against water, dirt and dust and is IP66-rated. The Interom station is equipped with a sensitive camera sensor that offers a superior dynamic range. GEC 481S
The design of the GEC 480 counter Intercom system allows clear and natural speech between acoustically separated locations, e.g. ticket counters, ski-lift stations or isolation wards in hospitals. The built-in speech processor allows high-quality hands-free, full duplex communication. The counter Intercom also adapts to different levels of background noise thanks to four different operating modes and individual volume adjustment for the client and the operator station. Optionally, a proximity sensor or a call button can be added on the customer side to activate the system. Power supply PA9 included. No microphone is included in the scope of delivery.
