The Commend Intercom Driver enables seamless integration between Commend’s intercom system and FLIR’s advanced camera control software, Cameleon. This interface facilitates real-time, bidirectional communication between both systems, enhancing situational awareness and response capabilities.
The driver transmits alarm and event data generated by the Commend intercom system directly to the Cameleon Server. This allows operators to monitor intercom-related events – such as emergency calls, door access activity, or system faults – within the Cameleon interface. Operators can initiate predefined events or actions in the Commend system directly from the Cameleon Server. For example, opening a gate, initiating a voice connection, or activating a preset intercom response can be triggered based on camera analytics or manual input in Cameleon.
