Challenge

The customer required a unified ecosystem to ensure the highest level of protection for their industrial facilities and employees. Collaborating with the general contractor and technology suppliers demanded precise planning and a flexible approach to accommodate the investor’s evolving needs. Specific challenges included:

Ensuring system alignment with the general contractor’s requirements and seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Integrating gate and barrier automation, overseeing installation, and ensuring full operational functionality.
Implementing separate security systems and modernizing production. There are two separate networks – one dedicated to security solutions, and the other is the production/office network.

Ernst & Engbring GmbH is a German leader in high-quality special cables for automation, machinery, and medical tech. Expanding in Europe, it opened its first Polish production site, EEP Sp. z o.o., in Rawicz.

Office intercoms: Devices with touchscreen displays and handsets for efficient communication.
Outdoor intercoms: Advanced communication and process automation with integrated cameras for efficient guest and supplier check-ins.
Logistics: For unannounced transport, drivers can directly connect with the relevant department via intercom, with integrated cameras allowing staff to quickly assess and respond to the situation.
Loudspeaker: A horn at the gate broadcasts critical messages to altert personnel and reduce the risk of accidents.
VirtuoSIS Server: Communications are also redirected to a mobile app, ensuring quick access to information and continuity of service.

Continuous technological development will allow further optimisation and expansion of the systems, adapting them to growing operational requirements.
