G3 Input/Output Cards
The input/output cards are part of the unique interface concept of the Intercom Server GE 300. They enable various control and indication functions and thus upgrade the Intercom Server to a universal control unit for all kinds of actors and sensors. The different designs of these cards allow flexible configuration, adapted to the customer‘s needs. The inputs read in floating contacts, the outputs are relay contacts, designed as make contact, open contact or changeover contact.

In order to verify their absolute reliability for use in Ex zones with hazardous gases or dusts, the Intercom stations are both ATEX-, CCC- and IECEx-certified. Based on a rugged, corrosion-resistant and lightweight “Ex e” polycarbonate housing, the Series EX 7000D enables simple and rapid installation, eliminates expensive routine servicing and drastically reduces maintenance costs. Additionally, the IP66 certification (acc. to EN/IEC 60079-0) and a wide permissible temperature range make the Intercom stations the perfect choice for a wide range of applications in explosive environments. Thanks to the dust- and water-insensitive microphones and the 16 kHz eHD Voice audio quality, the Series EX 7000D comes with highest speech intelligibility. Even in very noisy environments, two powerful amplifiers for the optional built-in loudspeaker and a connectable PA loudspeaker ensure a crystal clear sound. Furthermore, the microphone and the IVC feature (Intelligent Volume Control) allow to adjust the volume automatically to the ambient noise – even during playback.

Slim, feature-rich, easy to use: The od1 is the powerful single-button model from Commend’s Concerto series. The Intercom station is designed specifically for applications that require outstanding speech intelligibility with ease of use. The OD1-B is equipped with a tactile call button, which can be configured with different functions. In combination with the multi-coloured LED ring, it is possible to visualise different states. This makes the OD1-B suitable for door applications as well as an information station and emergency call station. The OD1-B meets Commend’s high standards for device safety. Cyber security can be enhanced by connecting an IP Secure Connector.

The US-BMT-ACMOD5 conduit extension is designed to house Commend’s od5 or *id5 in either interior or exterior locations. It has ½” and ¾” conduit knockouts at the bottom and in the back and attaches directly to the required Commend OD5-SH surface mount box. The compact size and robust design provide extremely flexible protection for your investment. The housing is constructed of heavy duty powder coated steel. This provides a reliable and attractive housing for the Commend security substation, especially for installation at doors and entryways. *Note: id5 must be used with a OD5-SH backbox for proper installation.

The vandal-resistant emergency call stations with one or three direct dialling buttons are designed for areas with high security requirements. The technology enables excellent speech quality and intelligibility regardless of ambient noise. The 3 mm thick front panel with poke protection and special screws protects against vandalism. The compact design is protected against the ingress of water, dirt or dust – protection class IP54. Each button can be assigned a call number and the respective labelling field can be printed individually. The large emergency call button is clearly visible even from a great distance and can be pressed quickly in emergency situations. The emergency call station is protected against misuse by a shatterproof glass pane that can be broken in an emergency.
