About the Role

We’re looking for a Bid Executive to join our high-performing commercial team and play a key role in turning major project opportunities into secured business. This is a role for someone who loves solving problems with precision, thrives on detail, and understands how to translate complex customer needs into smart, workable technical solutions.

You’ll be working closely with our Key Account Managers to build compelling, commercially aligned bids for larger projects, while also staying tightly connected to the Specification Development Manager to track and respond to upcoming specs.

Empleo

What You’ll Do

  • Bid Development: Prepare accurate, tailored bid responses for major projects, collaborating with KAMs and other stakeholders.
  • Solution Design: Understand client challenges and build technical solutions that fit their needs, their spec, and their budget.
  • Spec Tracking: Work closely with the Specification Development Manager to monitor specifications released to tender and ensure alignment.
  • Documentation & Accuracy: Own the details, ensuring technical content, pricing, compliance, and deadlines are spot-on.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the technical go-between for Sales, Engineering, and Commercial functions during the bid process.
  • Process Improvement: Help shape and evolve our bid process as we scale.
     

Habilidades

What You Bring

  • Strong technical background and comfortable reading and interpreting project specs, plans, and technical documentation.
  • Previous experience in bids, tenders, or technical proposals (bonus if in construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors).
  • A commercially aware mindset with the ability to build value-driven solutions.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisation, and calm under pressure.
  • Collaborative and proactive attitude - happy working cross-functionally and under deadline pressure.
