The 2-wire door station module ET 861A was developed for use at doors and gates as well as entry ways and internal security gates. The elegant modern design is matched to the Vario 6 series from Siedle. Further function modules matching the door station module are available. This way, all areas to which a speech connection is required can be integrated into the Intercom system. Thus, all advantages of the Intercom system can be used — e.g. call transfer into the telephone or cellular network and networking. The door station module ET 861A uses the latest DSP technology, which allows functions like audio monitoring, loud- speaker/microphone surveillance or OpenDuplex® . The frame can be used wherever a shadow gap is not desired for surface mounting. Depending on the colour, it has the advantage of increasing the visibility of the Intercom station. Furthermore, the call station is better protected against spontaneous vandalism by the frame. The frame can be used in combination with polycarbonate wallmount stations as well as with membrane protected stations. To simplify cable routing for plaster mounting, the frame is equipped with cut-outs that can be fitted with the WSSH 50P cable gland. The frame is held to the wall by the WSSH 50P, but can optionally be fixed to the surface with up to six screws. The front panel can be removed using the removal kit. Colour yellow corresponds to RAL 1018.

The technology enables excellent speech quality and intelligibility regardless of ambient noise. The compact design is protected against the ingress of water, dirt or dust – protection class IP54. Each button can be assigned a call number and the respective labelling field can be printed individually. The large emergency call button is clearly visible even from a great distance and can be pressed quickly in emergency situations. The emergency call station is protected against misuse by a shatterproof glass pane that can be broken in an emergency. The labelling (Notfall/Emergency) can be customised.
