With the EB8E4A option module, an Intercom module ET 808A or ET 908H can be expanded to handle an additional eight inputs and four outputs. Therefore, specific applications can be realised with ease.
The EB8E4A, integrated in a Commend Intercom system, makes compliance with the DIN VDE 0834 standard possible and thus improves the safety of detainees, cellmates, and custodians.
For maximum dependability, the EB8E4A is absolutely insensitive to errors like connection problems to the server, an Intercom module in the offline state or a short-circuit caused by connected lighting equipment. Even at a server breakdown, the EB8E4A still recognises the presence of a custodian in the cell, identifies cell and emergency calls and detects sabotage attempts.
If only additional inputs and outputs at an ET 808A/ET 908H are required, the EB8E4A also acts as a basic I/O option module.
