Commend was entrusted with the responsibility of delivering a comprehensive unified solution system that fulfils a diverse range of integration needs while adhering to the highest fire security standards in critical environments like elevators.
Customer Requirements
- Integration needs: A comprehensive system that seamlessly integrates various functionalities to meet diverse requirements. Including emergency calls, announcements, and operational communication.
- Design of the Intercom terminals in-line with the building’s unique architecture.
- Fire Security Standards: the highest fire security standards are crucial for the safety of the building.
- URH radio system in cross-platform operation for effective communication across the premises.
- Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) System: Implementation of a comprehensive PAVA system, including more than 2500 strategically placed loudspeakers throughout the building.
- EN 81 certified Elevator Emergency System covering all 23 elevators.
- Seamless GSM integration, ensuring uninterrupted communication.
Solution
The system is a comprehensive and integrated solution tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements for intercom, radio communication, GSM connectivity, public address, voice alarm and elevator emergencies.
The intercom stations in the building have multiple purposes, including URH system connection, mobile phone handling, evacuation announcements, guidance in emergency situations, emergency call management for lifts/lift lobbies, and announcements for the staircase locking system. The elevator emergency call system includes modules for lift cabins, stations in the machine rooms, and lift lobbies to communicate with control centers during emergencies. Staircase interlocks ensure restricted access in the building, to prevent unauthorized access. If approached, a self-contained public address system can announce a pre-programmed text.
