Based on a rugged, corrosion-resistant and lightweight “Ex e” polycarbonate housing, the Series EX 7000D enables simple and rapid installation, eliminates expensive routine servicing and drastically reduces maintenance costs. Additionally, the IP66 certification (acc. to EN/IEC 60079-0) and a wide permissible temperature range make the Intercom stations the perfect choice for a wide range of applications in explosive environments. The M20 cable gland provides protection against heavy water penetration. An additional hole in the pressure chamber allows the water to drain off after cleaning. This horn comes also equipped with a high-pass filter.
