The stations are connected directly with the Ethernet (LAN/WAN) and in this manner they are connected to a compatible SIP server via the IP network. The built-in switch with downlink function allows direct connection of an additional IP device (e.g. an IP camera). The digital Intercom module ET 811A has been developed for construction of custom-designed stations. It offers a wide range of applications and solutions e.g. for elevators, gates, entryways, ticket machines and operation desks. The Intercom module is comprehensively equipped with a large, illuminated graphic display, a full keypad, a sound-optimized loudspeaker and an electret condenser microphone. The graphic display shows information like call number and name of the conversation partner as well as messages, call type and events. The proven DSP-technology allows functions such as OpenDuplex, audio monitoring or microphone/loudspeaker surveillance of the station.

The design of the GEC 480 counter Intercom system allows clear and natural speech between acoustically separated locations, e.g. ticket counters, ski-lift stations or isolation wards in hospitals. The built-in speech processor allows high-quality hands-free, full duplex communication. The counter Intercom also adapts to different levels of background noise thanks to four different operating modes and individual volume adjustment for the client and the operator station. Optionally, a proximity sensor or a call button can be added on the customer side to activate the system. Power supply PA9 included. No microphone is included in the scope of delivery.
