Commend founded
Originally called "Ring Control" – as the flagship product could not be named "Commander" for trademark reasons, "Commend" emerged as a close but fitting alternative – and eventually served as the company's new name as well.
1989
Founding of Commend Österreich GmbH
1990
Founding of Commend AG in Switzerland
1992
Founding of Commend France S.A.R.L
2001
Founding of Commend Inc. in New Jersey USA
First subsidiary outside of Europe.

Founding of Commend Australia
Starts with offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

Founding of Commend Benelux B.V.

Founding of Commend Slovakia SPOL. S.R.O

Founding of Commend Italia S.R.L
